The University of Sussex’s International Development Society and Brighton & Sussex Friends of MSF are partnering up to host their inaugural national Global Health and Development Conference.
The conference has been developed with the support of faculty at the University of Sussex School of Global Studies, the Centre for Global Health Policy and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Global Health Research at Brighton & Sussex Medical School.
University of Sussex’s International Development Society
The International Development Society (DevSoc) is the University of Sussex’s oldest society and aims to inform and educate members on development issues and solutions. As well as their annual Global Health and Development Conference, DevSoc organises a number of educational and social events throughout the academic year.
Brighton & Sussex Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières
Brighton & Sussex Friends of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) are the official student support organisation for MSF at Brighton & Sussex Medical School and the universities of Sussex and Brighton. They aim to raise awareness of MSF’s work and involvement in global humanitarian affairs, advocate pressing human rights issues, provide information into the spectrum of career paths at MSF and raise money for their global appeals.
